PTO Programs & Events

Special Note for the 2020-2021 School Year

PTO is working to offer programs, content and ways to connect in our new virtual school world. Below is a catalog of programs that we currently hope we can offer this year. This list will grow over the coming months as we creatively pivot to support our school and community while we are under distance learning protocols. We invite input and ideas...and, of course, help! Please contact the PTO Board if you would like to share your ideas, feedback, or offer volunteer help.

PTO underwrites various classroom enrichment programs, community events, school support needs, classroom spending grants, and technology investments with your generous pledge drive donations. Pledged funds are not used for extracurricular activities... they are invested in programs and events that all students have access to in the classroom, at the school, or for families to attend after hours.

Extracurricular activities are self-funding through registration fees paid by the participants. Separate registration procedures & guidelines are required to participate in these activities. PTO parent volunteers manage these programs and coordinate the details with contracted vendors &/or other Silver Oak volunteers to make it possible to offer such activities to our students.
