Volleyball
Participate in an organized volleyball activity where basic volleyball skills will be taught and practiced. (T & TH)
Cookies with the Counselor
Students will complete a monthly college and career readiness activity with our counselor. They get a cookie when they come and will take a field trip to a college. (M monthly)
Girl Power
A girls club where students can talk about female empowerment, body image, self-esteem and other topics relevant to middle school. (T)
Soccer
Practice indoor soccer and improve your skills. (W)
Open Space
This is a club open to anyone with a focus on topics related to exploring identity. (M & W)
Chess Club
Learn to master the game of chess. All skill levels welcome. (F)
Art Club
Open to anyone who wants to create art and improve their art skills. Supplies provided. (M)
Game Room
Play cards, board games and any other type of school-approved indoor game. (T & TH)
Champions
Calling all leaders. Help improve the school. Lead school events and make LeyVa a better place. (W)
X Club
This faith-based club is designed to teach positive life skills to youth. Relationships are built through fun, active games, biblical teaching, and teen-style snacks. (W) Permission slip required.
Club Live
Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI) runs this youth development club to help students to develop a healthy lifestyle by providing safe and high energy activities. (T)
Open Studios
The PEER Foundation (Partners in Education Enrichment Resourcing) opens at lunch for activities such as 3D printing, robotics, physical computing, circuit design, digital and stop motion animation, app development, and coding. (TH)
SUPS
Alum Rock Counseling Center will teach life skills and substance use prevention along with arts, crafts and games. (W)
Book Club
Read novels, reflect on it weekly, and do activities around the book. (T)
Folklorico
Practice of Folklorico dance. All abilities welcome. (M, T, & TH)
K Pop
Gather and bond through a love of Korean pop music and dance. (T & TH)
