Science

Welcome to QO Science Department. Our department will be working towards immersing students in the abilities, work, and attitudes of scientists and engineers. As we continue our transition into the Next Generation Science Standards, we will strive to provide hands-on, purposeful, real life connections to classroom activities & daily lessons. We will be focusing on 3 dimensional learning, STEM problems & projects. We will be using multiple learning modalities. This year along with HOLT California Life Science & Physical Science textbooks, we will also be using Discovery Education Science Techbook as a supplementary material to enhance classroom learning & make learning more meaningful & enjoyable for all our students.
