Tom Matsumoto Elementary School is proud of our 6th graders. Honoring the promotion of our 6th graders has been a concern since the day school was closed. This transition marks the beginning of middle school and sets up continued future success. This year, we are faced with balancing Matsumoto's tradition with everyones' safety. Due to safety concerns, no school sites will be hosting car parades for promotions. In this unique time of distance learning, we are creating a virtual promotion ceremony to honor our students. It will be streamed online on Friday, June 12th at 10am. Please check on the link for more details.

Now that we spend much of our time at home, it's hard to decide how to fill our days and be active. Creating chalk art on your driveway is not only a fun way to be outdoors, but can also be a source of positivity for our communities! It would be great if you could join others in our Evergreen neighborhood in pouring your creativity, artistry, and empathy into driveway art, from writing positive messages to drawing beautiful images. Post on your social media page and use #EvergreenDriveway.
