On this page, you can find information about recommended website and iPad apps that will enhance student learning. If you click on the icons, you will be directed you to the learning website or the Apple website with more details. Most are are free, but some have more features if you make in-app purchases. ThinkerBotsThinkerBots is a FREE independent online writing improvement service started by former JFS students who are now in middle school. It is their way of ‘giving back’ to the community and supporting fellow students. Visit ThinkerBots Writing Academy to have your kids submit drafts for writing improvement suggestions online. This is a community service project meant wholly to help kids with their writing skills. JFS Kids: “Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow” grades 3rd-7th. |
Common Sense MediaCommon Sense Media is a great website for parents to help navigate the world of technology, social media, video games, movies and many more computer/technology questions. They have valid recommendations/blogs and ratings of products. This is a site that might help parents in deciding which video game or movie is at the appropriate age level for your child. It also gives good parenting advice on how to handle situations regarding appropriateness in using social media on-line. |

Typing AgentTyping Agent is customized typing practice available to students in 1st grade to 6th grade. Students login using their Google ID and password. Teachers can monitor progress and assign lessons. |
