Homework Club
After School Learning Program sponsored by Math Enrichment
Math Enrichment, in partnership with Carolyn Clark Elementary School, offers students in grades 1- 6 a safe, educational and fun after school program. Math Enrichment is more than just a math program. This after school program includes supervised homework time, test preparation and help with projects in all subjects followed by skill enrichment opportunities. Parents can purchase educational packages for either a 3 day or 5 day program from 3 – 6 p.m. and on minimum days starting at 1:15 p.m. Go to the Math Enrichment website for registration information or email Math Enrichment at info@mathenrichment.net. Allstars Academy
Allstars Academy Program Overview
- This after-school program is located on-site at Carolyn Clark to allow students to participate in school activities. Allstars uses the school's air-conditioned classrooms, large soccer fields, basketball courts and play areas.
- Daily dedicated time and support to complete homework. The staff helps students complete homework and checks to ensure it is completed successfully.
- Students have access to Allstars United soccer and basketball programs at no additional cost. These programs are taught by sports coaches 4 days a week.
- Additional academic subject enrichment activities are provided. Allstars uses iPADs and Chromebooks that students can use in the academy for accessing textbooks, homework assignments, doing online research, and doing adaptive math enrichment activities.
- Snacks are provided during the after-school program as children get very hungry in the afternoon.
- We are open till 6:30 p.m. to support parents working late hours.
Chinese After-School Option
In the Carolyn Clark after-school program, parents can choose a Chinese after school option that not
only includes all regular after-school programs, but also provides
Chinese Language instruction twice a week by Tong Wu. Chinese Simplified is taught. Chinese Simplified is the written
text of Chinese used officially in mainland China. Chinese Simplified
characters have fewer strokes and are easier to write than Chinese
Traditional.

Chinese School
Morning Light Education Group is located at 3701 Rue Mirassou, not far from Carolyn Clark Elementary School. Morning Light provides four services for after-school students: homework tutoring, Mandarin and Chinese culture, extracurricular courses and contest prep. Morning Light's after-school program is open M-F from 3 - 6 p.m.

Drama
Carolyn Clark Elementary students have the opportunity in the fall to participate in theater arts through our school play. More information about registration, auditions and rehearsals will be posted on the front page of the school's website.
Mad Science
Mad Science offers hands-on, one-hour after school science programs themed around a particular area of science. Topics include such areas as rocketry, magnets, polymers and even the science of toys. Children engage in exciting hands-on activities, watch spectacular demonstrations, participate in inquiry-based discussions and take home things that they have made themselves like model rockets, periscopes, Mad Science putty and more. Mad Science after-school programs offer children a chance to see just how cool science can be! Classes are offered in 8 week sessions.
