As we reach mid way of the school year it is critical that emergency cards be updated with current information. The staff uses these cards to contact parents in the event of an emergency. Moreover, students will only be released to the people listed on the emergency card. If your phone number or addresses changes, please notify the office immediately. If you have already registered with "Parent portal" and have updated your contact information we thank you. We encourage all parents to register on Parent portal at www.eesd.org or on our school web page and click on parent portal.

ABSENCES AND TARDIES Dove Hill conforms to state policies for excused and unexcused absences and tardies. Our district also has a Phone Call-Out system that will call a student's home when he or she is absent. Whether it is an excused or unexcused absence, the system calls to add another layer of accountability in the whereabouts of a student. However, it is still very important that you call us to let us know if your son or daughter is ill so we can mark him or her as an excused absence. TARDIES please do your very best to get your son or daughter to school on time. It is important for him or her to get off to a smooth start. It is also important to their classmates and teachers. Being to school ON TIME is respectful and needed when there are so many students to account for and so much to learn each day. Thank you to all the students who come to school on time every day except when ill.
