After School Programs

After School Academy

After School Academy is provided for selected 2nd - 6th graders by certificated classroom teachers. The After School Academy focuses on Math and English Language Arts skills for students, as well as math tutoring, through a partnership with the CSF Club at Silver Creek High School. This program is two days a week for ten weeks in the fall and spring.

Future Arts Now Hip Hop

The concepts of discovery and invention through improvisation are encouraged through this Future Arts Now (FAN) arts education program. Students are taught basic dance routines and are encouraged to develop their own steps. This course emphasizes creativity, expression, movement, balance and the overall importance of a healthy body and proper nutrition. Through breakdancing students gain self-esteem and are given a unique opportunity to collaborate with other students in a creative outlet. The Hip Hop program begins in September and is open to all students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. Classes meet each Friday for one hour and run for 24 weeks. The program usually ends in April.
